You’re almost ready. Now that you have a toolkit to identify your best guess of how to make a difference in this complex world, I want to throw a curveball. Because of the way the world is trending right now, with new forms of power emerging, a rise in nationalism and authoritarianism, and thousands of people running small experiments as to how to shift into a new paradigm, some activities that used to be good ideas are now reaching saturation and we need to think laterally. In this final chapter of this handbook for impact strategy, I want to outline the typical frameworks for change that have served us for centuries, and then propose a few that are not getting enough airtime. Maybe you can help shift the needle and adopt one of these framings with gusto.
